Step 2: Update Intel DPTF Driver via Device Manager or Windows Update
1) On your keyboard, press Windows key and R at the same time, then type in devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
2) Click to expand category Intel Dynamic and Perform Thermal Framework category.
3) Right click the Intel Dynamic and Perform Thermal Framework Generic Participant you can see here and choose Update driver.
4) Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
5) Then wait for Device Manager to locate the latest version of the driver for you. If it fails to do that, then you can click the Search for updated drivers on Windows Update and see if it helps.
6) You will be lead to the Windows Update window. Click the Check for update button here. Then see if there is any update available.
