No Sound on Youtube [Solved]

You can play Youtube videos in any browser but can’t hear the sound? Don’t worry. Read on then you will find out the top methods to fix the problem. There are several reasons causing the problem. Just try all methods until you have the problem solved.

Method 1: Unmute Youtube video

It is possible that the Youtube sound is turned off. At the bottom left corner of the Youtube video, check and see if there is a “\” showing on the speaker icon. If yes, click on it to unmute the sound.

Method 2: Use a different browser

Try to watch the video in a different browser. If other browsers have the sound, it means the problem is caused by the browser being used. In this case, move on to Method 3. If all browsers can’t play sound, the sound card might not be working, then you’ll need to update the sound card drivers.

Method 3: Unmute the browser and the plugins
