[SOLVED] Back 4 Blood Keeps Crashing on PC

Just when people can’t get enough of the classic L4D2, Turtle Rock dropped another bomb to the game market. But as players try to venture into a new zombie world, they find themselves facing issues like game crashing at start or exiting with fatal error.

But don’t worry if you happen to be on the same boat. According to feedback, we’ve gathered all the working fixes in the list down below. Try them and stop the crash right away.

Fix 1: Verify integrity of game files

When you’re dealing with game crashes, first you need to check if you have the latest intact game files. You’re likely to run into issues with missing or corrupted game data.

Here’s how to verify file integrity on Steam:

1. Open your Steam client and go to LIBRARY.
2. Right click Back 4 Blood and select Properties...
   
3. In the left pane, select LOCAL FILES. Then click Verify integrity of game files.. and wait for the process to complete.
   

Once done, restart your game and see if it crashes again.

If Steam can’t find any faulty game files, take a look at the next fix.

Fix 2: Update your graphics driver

Fix 4: Make sure Windows is up to date
