Windows 10 is an operating system developed and released by Microsoft. If you want to install or upgrade to Windows 10, your computer should at least satisfy its minimum hardware requirements. The following is the hardware requirement information about Windows 10.

The minimum Windows 10 hardware requirements

64-bit system: 2 GB

Note that these are only the minimum requirements for the Windows 10 system itself. Some features of the system, like BitLocker or Hyper-V, have additional requirements. For the system and your apps to run smoothly, you’ll need much more powerful hardware than those.

Fortunately, computers these days are almost all capable of running Windows 10 smoothly. Also, if you’re running the latest version of Windows 7 or 8, you should have no problem upgrading it to Windows 10.
